During my time in Hawai’i, I was fortunate to become friends with a local—Heather.

Heather is an alumna of the Esalen Institute and the owner of The Tao Within, a massage studio nestled in the dreamy lushness of a mango farm at the heart of Kealakekua Bay.

Loving nature, Heather revels in the beauty of the world around her. Her way of living nurtures and inspires me as a woman.

Heather and her family value the importance of water for supporting organ integrity. Hawai’i's purity heightens the body's sensitivity to the chemicals and toxins in big cities' tap or bottled water—microplastics and chemicals that kill our water. We need living structures to operate cohesively.

Reverse osmosis, alkaline, mineralized water—there are a variety of options out there for us. Not only do I mean to emphasize how important it is to get a great filter, but I also advocate for water in its purest form. Alive.

Swimming in the ocean is one of the most healing activities. Just soaking in the blue color is deeply soothing. Ocean minerals replenish worn-down bodies and support deep relaxation.

I dream of underwater adventures in the waters of Hawai’i. I will treasure such memories forever, and I simply can’t wait to return!

Heather also shared her passion for therapeutic spas such as onsens, baths, saunas, and scrubs. Her dedication to healing the lymphatic system (the water within the body) has helped me the most and has encouraged me to create my own “flow” and share it with others!

For help with my own lymphatic care, I also consult with Heather’s teacher, Dhyanna. Dhyanna’s introductory course on lymphatic care is FREE, and I will attach the link.

A healthy lymphatic system is a preventive measure against cancer. I wish for every human being to benefit from lymphatic care education!

Since water is an essential element for life, let’s fully realize and value how precious it is.

Drink, swim, and help your lymph flow!

With love,
Maria
