An abundant life

It's a blessing to be surrounded by such natural beauty, where every corner is tended to with love and care.

My days are filled with simple yet deeply gratifying work, and the rhythm of life here aligns with the changing seasons.

Mendocino County, where the farm is nestled, is a breathtaking countryside just 30 minutes from the coast and 2 minutes away from the enchanting redwood forest.

This year at the apple farm has been a journey divided into two distinct halves—summer and fall. highlighting the dynamic nature of life on the farm and the diverse tasks that come with each season and its been fascinating to see my daily biorhythms shift along with the weather.

The initial weeks were a physical challenge for my body, transitioning from the humid climate of Hawai'i to the dry air of California. I had to focus on staying hydrated with herbal teas and juices while engaging in labor. The blue zone lifestyle, doing activities like walking, berry picking, making cheese, has become my way of life.

Despite the physical demands, I've come to love every aspect of my life here.

The second half of the year revolved around caring for the farmstand as the days turned cooler . I found warmth in sipping chai with raw goat milk every morning, and every interaction with clients became an opportunity to embody my core values of love and care.

At home, I delved into cooking, making the past six months a culinary exploration.

As I set my intentions for the upcoming year, I'm taking a reflective stance. I'm examining where I can go deeper, where improvement is possible, and what adjustments I can make to strike a balance in my life while still pursuing the life of my dreams.

with love
